Last week was rough. I’m not sure what was going on in the Universe, but it was chaos. Like always though, I handled it like a boss. One thing after another went haywire and it was really starting to bog me down. I had to keep reminding myself that the chaos did not define me and would not have control over my energies. You determine your attitude
Most of your stress comes from the way you respond, not the way life is. Adjust your attitude, and all that extra stress is gone. If you focus on the stress, things will only be more stressful. Instead, try focusing on the solution or take some time to listen to the Universe, it is probably trying to tell you something. It’s really hard to have a bad day/week if you tell yourself it’s a good day/week. You set your intentions every day the minute you wake up. Do you wake up feeling blessed for another day and all the things the universe has given you? Or do you start your day complaining about all the things you have to do? Try starting each day with a grateful heart and watch the difference in the way things effect you.
Detach from what destroys you
Get rid of and let go of the things holding you back from being happy and handling your shit. Don’t ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday, let it go. In order to drink your coffee and handle it, you have to learn to let go of the negative and move on about your day. Do what ever you gotta do to cleanse your spirit. A personal example of this, I hate my full-time job. It’s super boring, I’m in a cube staring at a computer all day, and by about half way through my day I want to stab my eyes out. I could spend all day sulking in my misery, or I could accept my job for what it is, be thankful I have a job that pays my bills, then use my lunch break to scream angry music in my car and cast out the shit weighing me down from the morning. Be the energy you want to attract, handle it
If you want to have a positive life, you have to be a positive person. It’s fact. Like attracts like. The more positive you are, the more positivity you will attract. This week I’m not focusing on everything that went wrong and stressed me out last week. My broken laptop that I thought was the end of the world last week, getting that fixed for a really good price this week. The 30 some shirts I need to get out this week on top of working a full week at my day job, not gonna let them stress me out. I’m gonna come home from work, start a pot of coffee and get to work. It’s not worth it.
So what is it that is holding you back from handling shit? Do you need a mental vacation to clear your mind and realign with the universe? Do you simply just need to make a plan and do it? Motivate yourself. Be the light within and tackle your demons for the week. Take it one day at at time if you have to. Just handle it.
